From John Schuerman’s artist statement:
“I work in the great artistic tradition – that of reckoning with nature, consciousness, and the unknown. Mythology and contemporary conceptual art both follow from this human impulse. This kind of art renders the unnamed, and language follows, creating new levels of consciousness, which in turn produces new art.”
