This is the second year of the Yuri Arajs Artist Development Grant. The purpose of this grant is to give an artist the opportunity to have direct support from a professional curator and artist working in the arts community. This will allow the recipient to have one-on-one time to discuss their work critically, have portfolio reviews, and plan how to help promote and develop their work.
This year, the grant was offered to an artist living in Minnesota, living with a disability. To assist with this, the grant was offered through the help of VSA Arts MN. VSA Arts is an amazing organization offering a number of grants, classes, and services for artists living with disabilities in MN. Visit them online at: www.vsaartsmn.org

In receiving this years grant, Faye will receive a $100 art supplies gift card, 1000 full color postcards with her art on them to use for promotional purposes, and 2 studio visits with Yuri Arajs. This year’s grant received additional financial support from D. Brad Frederiksen. Thank you!
